   “ Be Patient and tough; this will be useful to you throughout your Life.”

To wish students good luck, assembly was conducted for the students of class 7 A on the theme – “Power of Patience” on 25th August 2023.
The program was started with a message-oriented skit on Marshmallow theory, explaining the importance of patience in our life, followed by a beautiful dance performance by the students. Then the  students prayed to invoke blessings of the Almighty.

A brief report: “Sports teach us to rise after every fall and strive for excellence.”

On the occasion of National Sports Day, 29 August 2023, the students of Class VII B presented their special assembly, ‘The Dynamic Sports Journey of India – परम्परा से परिवर्तन तक’ to pay a heartfelt tribute to Major Dhyanchand’s achievements for developing Indian Hockey. The wonderful skit and powerful dance performances presented the Sports Chronology of India, its evolution that certainly calls for greater good.

The students of VIII-B delivered a poignant assembly centered on the theme of ‘Kindness’ at the school premises on August 21, 2023. The event opened with a compelling skit that emphasized the importance of spreading kindness, compassion, and humanity worldwide. The skit effectively portrayed how kindness can positively impact one’s life and discouraged mean-spirited behavior. The energetic dance performance that followed added to the celebratory atmosphere.
The assembly included a thought for the day and a segment where students shared news about various random acts of kindness occurring across the globe. These stories served to underscore the significance of even the smallest acts of benevolence. Honorable Principal, Ms. Simmi Bhatia, graced the occasion with her presence and shared her words of wisdom. She encouraged the students to cultivate kindness towards each other and the people around them. As the assembly concluded, it left a lasting impression on the attendees, reminding everyone that “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted”.

THEME: The Bard of Bengal, Rabindranath Tagore

BRIEF REPORT

The assembly was an impeccable platform to showcase the prominent contribution made by Tagore in the field of Literature. An informative Talk Show highlighted the philosophy of the bard behind the characters created by him in his literary works. The students provided the description of the characters and questioned their existence in order to receive an answer of wisdom from their creator’s outlook. The student enacting as Rabindranath Tagore came up with the highly intellectual answers which make relevance even today. A captivating dance performance followed by the song ‘Ekla Chalo Re’ conveyed the value of being independent and walking alone on our life’s path. Honourable Principal Ms Simmi Bhatia showered her pearls of wisdom and quoted numerous examples from Tagore’s life to motivate the students in terms of being independent, creative, humble and compassionate. The students were also guided towards the power of mind and the path of success through the prayer “Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high…” shared by ma’am. Tagore’s birthday celebration was indeed a source of happiness and gleaming knowledge for the students.

 ‘My Mother, My Love’

The programme commenced with the powerful messages to honour all the mothers in the world followed by a significant skit which showcased the value of mother in an individual’s life. The children received the messages of not taking their mother for granted and not to disrespect her through comparisons. A captivating dance performance along with the heart-touching poems gleamed the celebration of this day even more. Honourable Principal Ms Simmi Bhatia showered her pearls of love and wisdom through a powerful prayer which acknowledged all the avatars of mothers in the world. Right from birth mothers to the foster ones; aunts to the caretakers of the special children, all kinds of mothers deserve love and respect. The prayer indeed opened the doors of compassion and realization in the heart of everyone.

THEME: “Laughter is the Best Medicine”

The incredible show of laughter began with a thematic poem followed by a humorous skit on ‘Laughter Yoga’. The skit highlighted the laughter exercises such as Namaste Yoga, Milkshake Yoga, Argument Yoga and so on. A foot-tapping happy dance scattered the bundles of delight all around. The students also sang a hymn which echoed the walls of the school with music and enchantment. Honourable Principal Ms Simmi Bhatia shared her words of plaudits for the students and shared the significance of laughter therapy. Letting anger go through the power of smiles and laughter was the message conveyed by Ma’am along with a group exercise of claps and laughter. The atmosphere of the school was full of zeal

.The programme commenced with the mellifluous notes of a hymn followed by a remarkable skit foregrounding the needs and the care required by the autistic children. A special poem based on the same gleamed the light of awareness even more. Honourable Principal Ms Simmi Bhatia shared her powerful words of wisdom which focussed on taking care of the autistic children with an optimistic and right approach with the elements of love, kindness and sensitivity. The students were also made acquainted with the World Autism Awareness Day observed annually on April 2. The assembly was indeed a programme of care, concern and compassion.

Theme WORLD HERITAGE DAY ‘IT’S A SHARED WORLD’

A brief report

. The programme commenced with a melodious hymn followed by a song dedicated to the beauty of nature and cultural heritage. A short skit sharing the significant information about the Indian monuments, rivers and heritage sites enlightened the spectators with the phenomenal knowledge. The students showcased the importance of the diversity of cultural heritage and preserving it for generations in the future. Their outlook presented the ancient monuments and buildings as an asset to us all around the world which need to be protected to ensure that they continue to be an asset for years and years to come. Honourable Principal Ms Simmi Bhatia provided her valuable inputs on theprominence of this day and shared the need of preserving the cultural heritage along with officiating a pledge to respect and preserve the rich culture of our country in every form. She further added that taking care of our heritage.

TOPIC : EARTH DAY

“We have not inherited this earth from our forefathers; we have borrowed it from our children.”- Lester Brown.

The students of Class X-C organized their special assembly on ‘Earth Day’ on April 20, 2023 in the school premises. Through the phenomenal performances of dance and skit, the students did not only showcase the challenges faced by our Mother Earth but also provided the powerful solutions to address the same. A special prayer and the speeches shared by the participants gleamed the aura of this day’s celebrations even more. Earth Day is celebrated globally on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Honourable Principal Ms Simmi Bhatia shared her quintessential outlook about the condition of Earth and the solutions with the students in a highly interactive manner. “Change starts from us.”, is what was imparted along with the discussion of the theme of Earth Day 2023 i.e. “Invest in Our Planet”, calling for businesses and other societies to shift towards sustainable practices. A sapling was also planted which symbolized a new beginning we need to initiate to work together for the benefit of our planet. The day was indeed a platform where the students learnt the value of working individually as well as in a team to contribute to the betterment of the environment.

Class-Marigold- Pre Primary A  Organised Class Assembly on the  theme of   Raksha Bandhan .

The students started the programme with a soulful prayer ..subah savere lekar…….and initiated the event .The students brought the stage alive With their  love for brothers and sisters through a  dance performance. The students recite a few poems on raksha bandhan and narrated  a beautiful story  too.

The tiny tots celebrated this festival with great zeal and endeavor .

The main objective behind celebrating ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was to make the children aware of the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions.

Theme –JANMASHTAMI –Jai Kanhaiya Lal ki…..

Festival of Janmashtami is an inspiration of good deeds and is celebrated as a day of happiness, joy and eradication of evil.

Janmashtami is celebrated as birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.

Students started the program with Ganesh Vandana and performed dance with short role play. The tiny tots came dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha. Students presented beautiful songs, colourful dance performance and a short role play. They were accessorized with colourful dresses and dupatta to set the Janmashtami mood.

Then, they performed dance on song “Woh Kisna hai” with great pomp and festivity.

Janmashtami is one of the joyous festivals of our culture.
